A little about myself
I'm LRL Jackson, a new artist in the body positive community working in digital painting portraiture. Here you'll find my un-specified portraits, as well as any recent series I've published. As a body positive artist, my goal is to be part of the movement to depoliticize fat bodies.
My current series, Body Positive Anxieties, is meant to reflect anxieties that built up over the last few months of doing art in the body positive community. While I love how much people whose bodies are not well-represented love my work, I struggle with feelings of doubt over the morality of what I do, and how I do it. I want to do what I can, but worry about whether or not my efforts truly help this movement.
